Tyra Lundgren & Carlo Scarpa - Glass bowl for Venini

Glass bowl by Tyra Lundgren, Carlo Scarpa. 1937-38.  Size:  32 cm (length), 8 cm (heigth).

Very early glass bowl designed by Tyra Lundgren for Venini. The so called Foglia filigrana was among her first designs when she started at Venini in 1937. Carlo Scarpa was responsible for the pattern. This bowl is signed with the 2 line acid stamp ‘venini/murano’ which was used between 1925 until the end of the 30´s. The bowl has some glass bubbles in it.
