Two highly unusual X lounge chairs designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mölgaard Nielsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in 1982. The X-series was originally designed in 1960. Beech and patinated leather.
In 1944 the designers founded the company ‘Hvidt & Mølgaard Studio’. The result of their more than 30 years of joint operation was the design of approximately 250 furniture projects as well as many significant architectural projects. Their numerous works can be admired in New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the National Gallery in Melbourne and in the Danish Museum of Art & Design.
