Niels O Möller - Dining set, rosewood

A beautiful jacaranda dining set consisting of table and 6 chairs by Danish designer Niels O. Möller.  Size: Ø 122 cm Leaf: 74 cm H: 72 cm

Without the extra leaves the table is round but when opening the tabletop, a butterfly leaf is revealed that flips open to allow for six people to dine comfortably. Chair no 77 was first manufactured in 1959 and is as modern as the day it was designed. Simple in its form the backrest has a  sculptural and organic shape showing the excellence in Danish carpentry and design and setting it apart from other modern Danish chairs. The set is in a very good vintage condition. Chairs with original red leather seats.
