Jonas puts it this way about his art:
- "What I was going to be when I grew up ... I knew right away. I have not been able to distinguish between life and work, and I have been lucky enough to be able to support myself on it. I want to poetically express my thoughts through art. I think everything you do is self-portraits. So what i show is a collection of self-portraits. The craft. All these hours of work, have given me the knowledge and courage to simplify the expression. I want to mix crafts and poetry, whether I make music, weld a motorcycle or lay a mosaic table. I want a professional craft to be seen in everything I do. No matter what time it takes. To care takes time. Love is in caring.
