Isaac Grünewald (1889-1946) was a Swedish artist who was the most famous in the first wave of Swedish modernism. Employed by Rörstrand in 1942 wanting to use his personal style to decorate ceramics. His unconventional style was called sur-cru using colorful decors. Here on a chamotted stoneware bowl from 1943. Size: 34 cm
